When it was introduced for the first time back in 2005, the Ridgeline immediately grabbed attention with its solid and bulky design. Now, the company is almost ready to present its new and improved version, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Actually, this model is one of the biggest announcements that this company has made in recent times. This one will be the second generation from Ridgeline lineup and all improvements and changes will be noticeable.

As for the exterior of the new 2017 Honda Ridgeline, this model will be based on the new Honda Ridgeline Baja Race Truck, presented on SEMA Auto Show. Compared with the current model, the new Ridgeline will come with a more traditional profile, keeping its muscular look. At the front the model will come with a revised bumper, improved fog lamps, classy designed chrome grille and multi reflector headlight.The tailgate will be split into two parts by upright line. It will turn out like a 2-piece Dutch Door.
2017 Honda Ridgeline Interior
The interior of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline will come with space, providing comfort. The seats will be covered with soft and top quality materials and with natural leather. There will be enough space for five adult persons, providing enough leg space and head room. In the back trailer will be enough space for all passengers’ luggages, since the total bed trunk should come with the capacity of 1550 lbs.
These days it is impossible to imagine a car without plenty of hi-tech equipment, so this model is no exception. It will have a wide range of hi-tech functions, gizmos etc. Some of the equipment will be: a most current infotainment system, large touch screen display placed on the center console, safety belt, air bags, updated satellite navigation, hands free-calling, USB port, etc.
2017 Honda Ridgeline Specs
The new 2017 Honda Ridgeline will probably come powered with a 3.5-liter direct-injection V-6 capable to deliver 280 hp, the same engine from the 2016 Pilot. It could also have the Pilot’s optional nine-speed automatic transmission on higher trim designs, while a six-speed automatic transmission will probably be available, too.
2017 Honda Ridgeline Price and Release Date
There is no official informations about the price and the release date, but according to some rumors, the price should be around $30.000, while the new 2017 Honda Ridgeline will probably hit the market at first half of 2016.
